During the process of training, Business users’ see the need for BI in their area. There already exist a lot of pain points which can be solved using BI.
Formation of Steering Committee
Building the BI business case begins with a number of questions, including: Where do you start? Who needs to be involved? Who drives the BI projects? A steering committee helps direct the vendor selection process and initial project implementation, and once they're up and running, a cross-functional continuous improvement team will ensure that the organization continues delivering new business value.
Define Roadmap
Define a roadmap to achieve the goals as mandated by the organization and the steering Committee.
Roadmap Defines Project
A BI project is the amalgamation of the process followed above as part of the workshop to be undertaken to achieve the requirements and accomplish the pain points addressed by the organization.
